Product Description
Adhesive slides, also referred to as charged slides, ion-modified slides, or cell-capture slides, are produced by applying functional surface modifications or coatings to glass slides via chemical or physical methods. These slides are widely used in workflows including immunohistochemistry (IHC), cell culture, histopathological and cytological slide preparation, and liquid-based cytology (LBC) thin-layer preparation. They effectively prevent cell or tissue sample detachment during experimental procedures, ensuring the integrity and reliability of prepared slides.
Currently, the widespread adoption of immunohistochemistry (IHC) testing has become a key development direction for pathological diagnosis in China, and automated IHC slide preparation systems are increasingly recognized by professional users. While slide preparation principles vary across different equipment models, all impose higher performance requirements on slides: surfaces must deliver stronger adhesion, with precisely tuned hydrophilic-hydrophobic balance to ensure uniform staining and consistent, reproducible results.
ViePath™ Adhesive Slides are manufactured using a proprietary in-house production process. Their hydrophilic surface delivers long-term, stable positive charge and strong sample adhesion.
